Week Four Power Rankings

I can't believe I can say this again. Two teams undefeated. Two teams looking for their first win. And, yes, a whole lotta middle. The first two points not withstanding, this is beginning to shape up to be one typical Fantasy Football season.

A lot better consistency throughout the league, and the numbers prove it with only one sub-1oo point game turned in. Players are finally settling into their roles and into the season. Speaking of settling in, our Power Rankings have a choice few teams at the top but it is still being shaken up. Without further ado...the Week Four Power Rankings!

WEEK FOUR POWER RANKINGS

01. Brett Favre's Crocs (3-0)

Finally in the top spot because of a thrilling win on Monday Night against the surging PFT. The ascension to first in the Power Rankings is a combination of points scored and record, so BFC is the clear frontrunner. Brett Favre's Crocs seems to be firing on all cylinders and expert management has a lot to do with that. Owner Nick Votto's next opponent is the suddenly hot Team Minch, so he's not completely guaranteed a 4-0 start.

02. The Cyber Police (3-0)

Still undefeated after three games is exactly how you want to start off, but Justin Ferrari's numbers fell off a bit this last week. Hopefully it is not a trend for TCP, as he has a rising Pauls Freudian Trip to deal with in this coming week.

03. Beauty and the Miller (1-2)

Shaggy Miller's team got upset big time this week, but it had nothing to do with performances on his side of the ball. Learn the word "fluke" when speaking to B&TM losses because that's a key ingredient. The team will be flirting with the top for most of the season, but with strange defeats like the one suffered this week, they'll simply be spectators to the top spot. Miller should bring things level this week, as he goes up against the anemic You Dun Goofed squad.

04. RingRing Hooka RingRing (2-1)

Beating You Dun Goofed was like the star high school quarterback beating the handicapped kid with the helmet in tetherball. So Christina Ruud's win this weekend didn't have a significant impact on the rankings with the exception that her team finally showed itself to be a growingly consistent roster. Next to Beauty and the Miller, RRHRR is one of the best teams in Division 2. This will be proven next weekend as she goes up against her rival, LaunchPad McQuack.

05. Team Minch (2-1)

Another win, this time against the struggling Team McLaughlin. Arguably one of the best and most risky front offices in the league, owner Alex Minch has taken great strides in assembling an eclectic group of players that have, thus far, performed admirably for him. Week Four takes him to Brett Favre's Crocs, providing the squad with their most challenging opponent yet.

06. LaunchPad McQuack (2-1)

From the basement to the top, LaunchPad McQuack is looking more and more like their 2009 Champion counterpart Team Faggy Vampire Kids. Matt Ruud is not looking to limp into the playoffs, but rather make an immediate impact in the regular season. LPMQ has gone from 12 to 6 in two weeks, and he has also made the initials LPMQ feared throughout the league. A great test comes this week as he takes on his wife, Christina. Should be a great game.

07. Rob's Team (1-2)

Rob Pakulski's team almost pulled out the biggest upset from last week, but came up a little short against The Cyber Police. His numbers are okay but they are consistent. If the owner somehow can trade for a big points producer during the bye weeks, Rob's Team could make a legitimate challenge for the regular season record. He better be on fire next as Team McLaughlin will be looking to end their three-game skid.

08. One Team One Cup (2-1)

How 1T1C is got a positive record is beyond me, but they are there because of a huge upset this weekend against Beauty and the Miller. If they can make it through the bye weeks without too much overlap, 1T1C could not only show up Flashin' The Big Ben next week, but also start climbing even further in the standings.

09. Flashin' The Big Ben (1-2)

Charlie Tritschler's team came back down to Earth this week with an abysmal outing against LPMQ, and now FTBB has some work to do with a significant bye week upcoming which sees his QB Tony Romo taking a rest. In order to get out of a two-week funk, Tritschler needs some bench magic to take down One Team One Cup.

10. Pauls Freudian Trip (0-3)

Sigh. Boy, this team just can't catch a break. But on the bright side, Paul Votto's team is definitely moving up with a huge 149-point total in his loss against division rival BFC. Next week is going to be tough as PFT heads to take on the undefeated Cyber Police, but this is a team on the verge of something big. A win next week would be a huge boost for the owner.

11. Team McLaughlin (0-3)

It is surprising that the team with one of the best draft classes would start the season 0-3. It almost defies logic and is making for one of the more interesting stories in the league this year. The starting QB slot is still killing Glen McLaughlin's team, but with a Vikings bye this week, perhaps a shift to a new QB is in order and it might just stick. It is a tough road to their first win as they have to go up against the always consistent Rob's Team.

12. You Dun Goofed (1-2)

It is tough for me to put my team at the bottom, but we totally deserve it: god we are terrible. The biggest problem with You Dun Goofed is that it is a swallow roster with very little attractive trade bait and a complete lack of a running game. If we are to make a serious move, it needs to be this week against Beauty and the Miller because this is almost a guaranteed loss.
